Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 19, 2026
1. Commitment to Privacy
At LockDeck Vault, your privacy is our core mission. We believe that your sensitive data—passwords, card details, and PINs—should belong exclusively to you. Our architecture is designed so that we never have access to your keys or your decrypted information.
2. Data Encryption
All data stored in LockDeck is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. The encryption and decryption processes happen entirely on your device. Your Master Password or Biometric data is never transmitted to any server.
3. Data Collection
LockDeck does not collect personally identifiable information (PII). We do not track your usage, we do not have an analytics SDK that tracks your vault entries, and we do not sell any data to third parties.
- No Account Required: You can use LockDeck entirely offline without ever creating an account with us.
- Local Storage: Your vault is stored in your device's secure enclave / secure storage.
4. Third-Party Services
LockDeck may interact with native system services (like iCloud Keychain or Android Auto-fill) if you explicitly enable those features. These interactions are governed by the respective operating system's privacy policies.
5. Backups
If you choose to use our Backup feature, your vault is double-encrypted with a unique Recovery Key before being exported. Without this key, the backup file is useless and cannot be decrypted by anyone, including us.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, if applicable, through an in-app notification.
